The San Jose Earthquakes revealed their new Navy SEAL Foundation away kit for the 2018 season on Sunday morning at an unveiling event at Hornet Field in Alameda, Calif. The all-white jersey features blue highlights and a grey-chevron pattern and five percent of each jersey sold at the Quakes Team Store will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation.
The jersey was revealed alongside the club’s second mini-pitch in the Bay Area, which was made in collaboration with the U.S. Soccer Foundation:

The kit had excited fans after its leaked release earlier in the week and was positively received on social media after the official unveiling as well:

Certain supporters were more skeptical, though. “That’s kind of funky,” user AtlantanKnight7 commented on Reddit. “I feel like from the stands it’ll look like they all have wrinkled jerseys.” Eagle-eyed fans also noted that the chevron pattern was taken from the Russian national team’s kit:
